Indian Bayou Arts Festival 2013

The last Saturday in September is the Indian Bayou Arts Festival! It takes place on September 28th as an  outdoor festival of fun across from the B.B. King Museum and the Blue Biscuit along the banks of Indian Bayou in downtown Indianola, Mississippi. Free Family Fun from 9am to 4pm.

I'll be at an artists' booth again at the event.  Please come visit and see some great Mississippi Delta art.

Indian Bayou Festival

Took some pictures at the Indian Bayou Arts Festival, so here's a painting of some artisans selling their craft.  The festival takes place in September across from the B.B. King Museum and The Blue Biscuit along the banks of Indian Bayou in Downtown Indianola, Mississippi.  The man in the red shirt is Lee Washington. He was selling his "Cotton Picking" metal sculptures, three of said pieces grace my home!

I was also a demonstration artist with the Delta Artists Association booth for those who passed by, had questions, and wanted to see an artist in action.  I'm working on the painting posted here.
