My painting
Vintage took second place in the
Delta Artists Association Members Show "Dog Days of Summer: Delta Artists Along Deer Creek" that opened July 25 at The Leland Progress in Leland, MS. As
you can tell in the photo, I was VERY surprised.... and thrilled!
Congratulations to all our winners & participants in this
outstanding show! A big "Thanks" goes out to our judge, Greenwood
artist David Taylor who did a great job of judging this show plus giving
out the awards and then he went on to explain why he chose each piece.
That alone is reward enough for an artist to know the things they "did
right" in their work.
It was a pleasure to help our judge David Taylor hand out awards. Here's Juanita Gray receiving the People's Choice ribbon for her oil painting,
Deer Creek. We had great attendance for the reception and awards.
