I'm looking forward to the Delta Artists Association Member Show at The Leland Progress on July 25th!  It is sure to have a big turn out and be a lot of fun for artists and art lovers.

GAC's Juried Biennial Invitational

Yay! Two of my paintings were jury-selected for Greenville Arts Council's 5th Juried Biennial Invitational! Happy dance! :-)

Country Road Take Me Home

"Country Road Take Me Home" was painted at the John Pototschnik workshop in Pontotoc, Mississippi, this past weekend. I used an analogous palette, mixing all the colors used in the painting from only 3 colors: ultramarine blue, alizarin crimson and cadmium lemon yellow plus titanium white. First time to use a limited palette like this; it was a challenge but I like how this turned out.
